REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Workforce Solutions Middle Rio Grande Board is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for its 2010 College Bound Summer Program. This category of the RFP is restricted to bidders that are certified by the Higher Education Coordination Board, Texas Education Agency or other state agency certified entities. The program is designed to provide a college academic program as well as a work experience program to Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible participants who are recent High School graduates or who are May/June 2010 High School graduates. It is expected that the eligible participants shall have not previously attended a post secondary institution. The proposed program shall include a seven (7) day per week on-campus residency component. The program is designed to provide participants with a combination of education, work experience and residential living on a college campus, and/or for those who have been following a Career Pathway.
