REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Middle Rio Grande Workforce Board 2007 College Bound Program
The Middle Rio Grande Workforce Board is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for its 2007 College Bound Program. This category of the RFP restricts bidders that are certified by the Higher Education Coordination Board, Texas Education Agency or other state agency certified entities. The program is designed to provide a college academic program as well as a work experience program to Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible participants who are May 2007 High School graduates. The proposed program shall include a seven (7) day per week on-campus residency component. The program is designed to provide participants with a combination of education, work experience and residential living on a college campus, and/or for those who have been following a Career Pathway. RFP packets may be obtained on or after March 21, 2007 from MRGWFB, P. O. Box 760/ 2210 Milam St., Uvalde, Texas 78802. Competitive proposals must be received at the designated location no later than 12:00 Noon, Friday, April 20, 2007. MRGWFB is an EOE.
